Senior Housing Advisor - Green Building
Background: The National Center for Healthy Housing is dedicated to creating safe and healthy homes for children through practical and proven steps. NCHH conducts research on methods to assess environmental hazards in the home and on measures to reduce those hazards, especially for children. NCHH designs practical strategies to incorporate healthy housing practices into the work of the public health and affordable housing communities and promotes these strategies through training, education and outreach, policy advocacy, and partnership programs. Senior Housing Advisor - Green Building
JOB SUMMARY
The National Center for Healthy Housing (NCHH) seeks to support developers and housing professionals in the development of homes that promote health, conserve energy and natural resources, and enhance access to jobs, schools, and services.
This position will manage many aspects of NCHH's green building work, including managing grants, providing technical assistance and training, partnership development, and public policy advocacy. The position requires some travel. The Senior Housing Advisor reports to NCHH's Deputy Director.
