The First Annual National Safe and Healthy Housing Coalition Meeting took place on May 24 and 25, 2010 in Washington, DC. It was a very successful event! Click here to see the Meeting Agenda and Provisional Business Meeting Minutes.
The Coalition discussed their policy priorities during the Annual Meeting. Briefing papers were developed for three topics:
The Coalition held three group discussions (dubbed "Salons"), in order to surface policy priorities for the coming year as well as discuss previous priorities. Each discussion was led by a facilitator and techical expert for that topic.
The following presentations were given at the Annual Meeting:

- Kathleen Hogan, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Energy Efficiency, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, U.S. Department of Energy
- Sharunda Buchanan, Director, Division of Emergency and Environmental Health Services, CDC
- Kim Foreman, Education and Outreach Director, Environmental Health Watch
